“I Stand Up Straight” presentation in Monmouth Museum, Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey

I have lived in Monmouth County for more then 30 years and I recently discovered the great museum that we have in our neighborhood: Monmouth Museum, located at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey.
A great place for children; it is divided between two activity sections for children ages 2-6 and another section for ages 6 and up. It also includes a main open room for local artists from Monmouth County.
I connected with the Art Director, Mrs. Jane Eisenberg, and offered to present to children and their parents the subject of correct posture.
Today, I had the privilege to present my book and song: ‘I Stand Up Straight’. It was a very interactive presentation where children and their parents assume correct posture and followed the exercises for mobility.
The children, parents and I all had a great time.
‘I Stand Up Straight’ is a fun and educational picture book that teaches children how to stand up straight via memorable poems and beautiful illustrations. Correct posture is reinforced with the addition of a posture check list, guidelines, pictorial views and easy to follow children exercises.
The book contains a set of tools to help children understand, implement and develop good posture.
The song is free on YouTube and the book can be purchased on Amazon. In addition, we have two other activity books called: “Rachel, Pedro and Friends Stand Up Straight” and “Rachel, Pedro and Friends Sit Up Straight”.
