HCANJ Yearly Conference: A Great Communication Tool
Prime Rehabilitation Services was honored to attend the HCANJ annual convention. Michelle Palko and her team hosted the HCANJ annual convention in Atlantic City for which Prime Rehabilitation Services was honored to attend, marking our 20th year of support for this local industry event.
The HCANJ annual conference is a great tool for learning new trends in the industry, process new information, renewing connection with old colleagues and acquiring new friends. The vendors welcome event and the party on Wednesday were festive opportunities to socialize with all convention participants. The attendees visited each booth throughout the three days exploring each for the services provided. The vendors did the same and made connections to help each other in the future.
Yaffa Liebermann, PT, GCS, CEO and Diane Sangree, PTA enjoyed presenting the attributes of therapy that both Prime Rehabilitation Services and Mobile Therapy Services provide in the tri-state area. With a strong emphasis on the great treatment provided in skilled nursing homes with advanced knowledge on Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM), Yaffa shared her passion for serving the geriatric community. Many were not aware of Mobile Therapy Services, which is therapy services within the home after discharge.
With a dynamometer on hand (no pun intended), attendees checked the strength of their hand grip. It was fascinating to see how different people reacted: some tried with minimal effort, while some really squeezed with all their strength. Many challenged each other to see who was squeezing better and competed among themselves. Best of all, was the laughter and comradery.
We were honored to attend and share our wisdom and knowledge of the benefits of therapy. We will continue to support the industry organizations to spread the word on the value of therapy.
Our heartfelt thanks goes out to Michelle Palko, her team at HCANJ, all our clients, all the vendors and all the attendees for making this event wonderful.
