Celebrating Rehabilitation Awareness Week
Prime Rehabilitation Services was honored to support Rehab Awareness Week acknowledging the hard work and dedication of our therapy team members. With creativity and resourcefulness, our teams showcased the importance of skilled therapy services to the recovery and wellbeing of patients entrusted in our care. We are pleased to highlight our Regency Grande facility and the wonderful therapy team. Here is what Floraine Emata-Pagcu, PT, Director of Rehabilitation has to say about their event(s):
The Rehab Team at Regency Grande Nursing and Rehabilitation Center celebrated Rehab. week from 9/20/21 to 9/24/21; mainly to honor and appreciate our dedicated and hardworking therapists (PT,OT,SLP) . We wanted to spread awareness amongst facility personnel and staff of the various treatment and interventions we provide to our patients, as well as provided educational In-services.
We commenced the week with a day of trivia questions:
What are the difference between Activities of Daily Living and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living?
What is the difference between Speech Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist?
When to request for a rehab screen?
First place prizes were given to those who were first to give the correct answers.
We had demonstrative in-services on Transfer Training Ergonomics and Benefits of Exercises to your wellness, and Oral Care all presented by our wonderful team members.
The highlight of the day was performing Functional Tests among volunteer staff to test their dynamic balance, reaction time, endurance and coordination with TUG, Four-point Test and one leg standing amongst other tests.
We would like to thank Prime Rehab. Services and Regency Grande for providing the flexibility in time and resources to have a very festive, fun, and rewarding week of activities.
With these our dedication to providing quality patient care and Rehabilitation services continues….
It was indeed a fun and rewarding week!
