A Note from Yaffa Liebermann, PT/CEO, GCS

I recently completed the recertification process for Geriatric Clinical  Specialist awarded by the American Physical Therapy Association .  This will be my 3rd recertification in this specialty and I would like to thank my family, friends, coworkers and community for their support.

I feel there is a great deal to learn from all those in our lives.  Through my patients, I have learned the importance of determination and confronting fears. Positive thoughts and attitudes are the key to unlocking the door of your potential.  Through my fellow therapists, I have learned to follow my passions – do what you love and this can transfer to those around you!
Therapists care for their patients, the patients’ families and are fully invested in assisting them reach their goals.  For us, these patient milestones are personal victories as well.  I would like to thank my corporate team –  they work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the success of our company however are not often visible for appreciation.  They provide assistance, support, encouragement and a strong belief in my abilities both as a clinician and owner.

I would also like to thank my parents (watching from above) who paved the way to follow my wish to become a Physical Therapist.  To my husband who always stood by my side to support and encourage me, and my children who made it easy for me to work in my profession and raise them at the same time. I could not succeed without them.

I am thankful for this recertification and excited to continue learning and teaching all that I know!

Congratulations Yaffa! It’s good to hear from you and see your smiling face!

I am enjoying my retirement very much, but I do miss seeing my co-workers and residents.

    Love, Paul
